The Bear Facts
Underwear is not merely unnecessary, it is unhealthy.
Myth - "Underwear supports the testes and keeps
them from getting floppy."
Like the bra is said to prevent the sagging of breasts,
underwear is supposed to give support to the testes. Imagine putting your
arm in a sling and not using it. Will it become stronger? Healthier? No,
it will become weak and atrophied. 'Going Bear' is healthy!
Myth - "Cold is bad for the genitalia."
Doctors specializing in reproduction therapies state
coldness on the testes is not harmful. In fact, it increases sperm motility.
Ice on the testes is a common recommendation for men with low sperm production.
Myth - "People who don't wear underwear are immoral."
Rubbish. People who don't wear underwear are generally
less ashamed of their bodies and have greater self esteem. Immodesty is
not immorality.
Myth - "Men wear no underwear under their kilts
because the lassies like it."
Depends on the lass, but most will venture a peek or
three.
Myth - "Men wear no underwear under their kilts
because it is comfortable, manly, and sexy."
That's no myth. That one is bang on, baby!
Wearing nothing under your kilt is healthier for your
body and mind.
Rebel against established mores!
Be healthy!
Be free!

The logo for Bear Kilts is a reproduction
of a bear scratched on a cave wall at Les Trois Freres in France. As a
man of mixed European ancestry, I regard cave art as my heritage.
Why did I choose a bear for my logo? My nickname is "Bear", and if you want to be stylish and comfortable, you'll ...

I looked at a lot of fabrics before choosing polyester/viscose. It is the only fabric I could find with all the characteristics desirable in a casual kilt.
Firstly, it had to be machine washable and dryable and hold its pleats.
It also had to be soft, allowing a good flow of fabric. Poly/viscose is incredibly soft, smooth, and light, making our kilts the most comfortable men's garment you can buy.
It wasn't necessary but I wanted Bear Kilts to look like wool kilts. Poly/viscose looks so much like wool, you have to examine the twill size to be sure. At the store I found it, many of the Poly/viscose tartans were put in the wool tartans section by mistake.
Lastly, it had to be readily available in many tartans.
Bear Kilts are quality garments you can wear with pride and we stand behind every product we sell.
I guarantee it.
